Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for Aoraforge (the trading name; the operating entity is a sole trader registered in NSW, Australia). It tells you what personal information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, and how to access or delete it. If you have any question, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you fill in any of our intake forms (Free Diagnostic, sample-unlock email gate, Pro Audit, Pro Audit, Citation Pack), we collect:

• Your email address (always)
• Your business name and website URL (for paid tiers and the Free Diagnostic)
• The queries you ask us to poll (typically 5–15 short text strings)
• The names of competitors you ask us to compare against (for paid tiers)
• Any optional comments you choose to share

When you pay, Stripe handles your card details directly. Aoraforge never sees your card number, CVV, or full bank details. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and the payment status.

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

We use the information you provide solely to deliver the AI Search Readiness service you bought (or asked for, in the case of the Free Diagnostic): poll AI search platforms with your queries, write reports about your brand's citation visibility, draft posts and pages on your behalf, and send you the result by email.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with marketing or advertising partners. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models. We do not enrol you in unrelated mailing lists.

Who we share it with (third-party processors)

To deliver the service, we send minimum-necessary data to a small number of well-known processors:

• Stripe (US/Australia) — payments. Stripe privacy policy.
• Cloudflare (US/global) — site hosting, form intake, polling infrastructure.
• Resend (US) — transactional email delivery (your report, receipt, notifications).
• OpenAI, Perplexity, Brave Search — we send your queries (not your email or business name) to these platforms during polling. The queries are the strings you tell us to poll, e.g. "best Sydney solar installer with battery and warranty".

Some of these are based outside Australia, so your information may be processed overseas. By using Aoraforge you consent to this cross-border disclosure (APP 8.2).

How long we keep it

Free Diagnostic data: 30 days, then deleted. Paid engagement data: kept for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (Australian tax-record retention). You can ask us to delete it sooner — see below.

Security

All data in transit is over TLS. Data at rest is in Cloudflare KV / D1 (encrypted at rest by the provider). Stripe holds card data, not us. We use only services with current SOC 2 / ISO 27001 attestations or equivalent.

Your rights — access, correct, delete

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

• Access — see what personal information we hold about you (APP 12)
• Correct — ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate (APP 13)
• Delete — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations like tax records)
• Complain — to Aoraforge first ([email protected]); if unresolved, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days as required by the Privacy Act.

Cookies and tracking

The marketing site uses no third-party analytics, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising cookies. We use one small browser-side cookie / sessionStorage entry to remember when you've unlocked sample reports — this is strictly first-party and does not leave your device.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what data we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and post a note in the blog. Continued use of Aoraforge after a change means you accept the updated policy.
